タイではまだまだ洪水が続いているというニュース。

バンコクは落ち着いたようだが22の県ではまだ洪水が続いており、日本人にも知られているアユタヤでも膝上までつかる状態のようだ。
バンコク北東のプラチンブリでも同様。
これは2011年の大洪水並みだな。
ミャンマーの詐欺センターの首謀者が逮捕されたそう。
Thai police arrest alleged ringleader supplying victims to Myanmar scam centres Police arrested a 33-year-old Thai man in Tak province on October 6, accusing him of leading a gang that lured Chinese nationals with job offers before abducting them. Local reports indicated that the network supplied victims to scam centres in Myanmar. The suspect, identified as Thanainun, faces unlawful confinement charges. His arrest followed the September 6 rescue of a Chinese man found in a vehicle in Mae Sot with tape covering his head and face and his hands bound and handcuffed. Two suspects arrested during the rescue told police Thanainun hired them to transport the victim to the border in Phop Phra district. They said he drove ahead to check for police checkpoints. The victim said an online recruiter had promised him work in Thailand. Thanainun denied the charges, saying he was only taking people to work. Police are seeking other members of the alleged network. 高額バイトの広告で釣った中国人をタイ国内で拘束してミャンマーの拠点まで送り込んでいたそうだが、こういうのはてっきり同胞の中国人かと思っていたらタイ人だった模様。
拘束されていた男性は頭と顔にテープが巻かれ、手が縛られて手錠をかけられた状態で車両内に閉じ込められたいたそう。
一時期カンボジアの詐欺拠点が幅を利かせていたが中国からの圧力なのか、カンボジア警察がつぶしにかかったおかげでタイやラオスに広がり、もう一方の雄であるミャンマーも手入れは入っているもののまだまだ残っているようだ。
東南アジアの甘い話には気を付けよう。
バンコク西部のバンコクノイ運河付近に20頭以上のナマズが出現したとして話題になっている。

そうか、すごいなーと思っていると撮影しているのは列車の運転手とのこと。
きっと日本だとそっちのほうが大騒ぎになるだろうが、タイなのでマイペンライ。

タイでポピュラーなクイティアオルア＝舟そばはもともとこのように船の上で作って提供していたもので、バンコク近郊でもダムヌンサドゥアックやタリンチャン、アムパワなどの水上マーケットには観光用にこういう屋台が残っている。
それをネタにした生成AI動画なんだろうが、苦境を笑いにしてしまうタイをよく表していて面白い。
このところパタヤでの洪水の状況がSNSをにぎわしていたが、今日になってバンコクのすごい状況が次から次へと伝わってきた。
まず最初に飛び込んできたのはコンビニの棚から食料品が消えたという投稿。

「え、なに？」と思っていたらバンコク中心部からドンムアン空港に向かうウィパワディーランシットは2011年の大洪水以上の水深になっているらしく、バスはなんとか進んでいるものの、窓の高さに近づくくらいの水深で乗用車は走行不能。

9月も終盤になると雨季もそろそろ本気になりチャオプラヤ川では毎年おもらしが発生するので、この時期になるとその様子を見に行っていたことを思い出した。
MRTブルーライン線のタオポーン駅とバン・ポー駅間で火災が発生しバン・オ、バン・ポー、タオポーン、バン・スエ、カメン・ペット駅は停電のため閉鎖されているとのこと。

場所的に第3軌道かな。かなり激しく燃え上がっており、別なソースでは下の道路に溶けたコンクリートが落ちているさまが映っていた。

昔は週末に国境を超えてくるマレーシアに次いで2番目だったのに、人の多そうな8月でも4位か。
